Natural oils in the belly button for well-being Shannon Page, HHP,CPT, PR

Our navel (Nabhi) is an amazing gift that our body has given us. According to science, the first part created after the design is the navel. After its creation, it is attached to the mother's placenta by the umbilical cord.

Our belly button is surely a surprising thing! All of our veins are connected to our umbilical cord, which makes it the central point of our body. The belly button is life itself!

The "Pechoti" is behind the belly button, which has more than 72,000 veins. The total number of blood vessels we have in our bodies is twice the circumference of the Earth. In an era gone by, we knew that to lower the temperature of babies, we used to put a cotton-tip with alcohol in the belly, now we know that with oil, it's better. Absorbing essential oils and scents through the belly button can correct, heal and balance nervous connections present in the body.

  • Neem oil on your belly button, to get rid of pimples and stubborn acne.

  • Castor oil can support digestive health, reduce inflammation, alleviating pain, and promoting relaxation.

  • Almond oil on your belly button, to get a glowing face.

  • Mustard oil on your belly button to get rid of dry and rotted lips. It also allows you to move your intestines to get rid of harmful bacteria, but it preserves good ones. It really works like a gentle detox.

  • Olive oil or coconut oil to improve your fertility.

  • Sesame oil is used for all kinds of joint pain.

  • Thyme oil is antispasmodic, it helps relax the arteries and veins, thus reducing blood pressure and heart stress. It can also help strengthen and tone the heart muscles. Remember that thyme oil is a powerful compound and should not be used directly on your skin as it can cause awareness and irritation.

I love utilizing essential oils for my patients, as these natural wonders seamlessly enhance their healing journey, promoting relaxation, rejuvenation, and a profound sense of well-being.

As with any natural product it is best to test natural oils on a small patch on your skin, such as the under side of your forearm to look for irritation or an allergic reaction. Before using natural oils or any alternative remedy, it's essential to consult with a healthcare professional, especially if you have underlying health conditions, are pregnant, or are taking medications. While natural oil are generally considered safe for many people, individual responses can vary, and it's crucial to ensure they are suitable for your specific situation.
