DELICIOUS BERRY SMOOTHIE RECIPE:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mixed berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries)

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt

  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)

  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)

  • Ice cubes (optional, for a colder smoothie)


MAKE IT A POWER SMOOTHIE:

  • add a scoop of your favorite plant-based protein powder

  • add veggies: spinach or 1/2 and avocado are great

  • Add 1 tsp Chia seeds - great source of Omega-3, Fiber, and Protein

Instructions:

  1. Wash the berries thoroughly and remove any stems or leaves.

  2. Peel the ripe banana and break it into chunks.

  3. Place the mixed berries, banana chunks, yogurt, milk, and sweetener (if desired) into a blender.

  4. Blend the ingredients on high speed until smooth and creamy. If you prefer a thicker smoothie, you can add more yogurt or reduce the amount of milk.

  5. If you want your smoothie to be colder, you can add a few ice cubes and blend again until they are crushed and well incorporated.

  6. Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness or thickness according to your preference. You can add more honey or milk if needed.

  7. Once the smoothie reaches your desired consistency, pour it into glasses and serve immediately.

  8. You can garnish the smoothie with a few extra berries or a mint leaf for an extra touch if you'd like.
